The Mirik Sports Association today organised an inter-school table tennis tournament at the auditiorium hall of Donbosco School. The tourney saw 11 schools including Mirik college participating and was held for three categories, sub-junior (classes 5 to 7), junior (classes 8 to 10) and senior (class 11 to college level). The event was inaugurated and presided over by Fr V.C. Jose, Headmaster of Donbosco School. The chief guest was Arun Sigchi, GTA Sabhasad of Soureni constituency, while Mala Subba, Mirik Municipality chairperson was the guest of honour. The results of the competition are yet to be declared.(EOI)
