Trinamool Congress workers in Rongpo want to bring cinchona plantation from Kalimpong to Sikkim. With this view, Santosh Khawas and other Trinamool leaders from Rongpo met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kalimpong recently and wanted her help to introduce cinchona plantation in Sikkim with help from the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration. The Trinamool Trade Union Congress also watned provision of land documents and increase in daily wages.(EOIC)
